Dear ACTS friends, greetings!
After over four months of careful planning and preparation, this year’s short-term mission team to Togo is about to embark!
The mission will take place from July 13th to July 24th. The team consists of 27 members from various organizations in the United States and Taiwan, including River of Life Christian Church, Bread Of Life Tennessee, Chiayi Christian Hospital, Shilin Truth Church, YWAM, and ACTS. The team has a significant task ahead, with the main objectives being:
- ACTS Graduation Ceremony: Participate in the 4th graduation ceremony of ACTS with 110 graduates. May God guide their future paths and provide success in their careers.
- Village Medical Clinics: Conduct four medical clinics to serve villages with limited access to healthcare resources. Establish health stations and provide training for station staff.
- Living Water Project: Install clean water sources in five villages, including Ahepe, to ensure safe and convenient access to water, significantly reducing disease occurrences.
- Photography Symposium: Collaborate with the Togolese Ministry of Culture and the Togolese Photography Association to host a national photography symposium. May God take this special event to open new doors for ACTS in Togo.
- ACTS 10th Anniversary Documentary: Express gratitude for God’s guidance and blessings over the past ten years. The team will capture the ACTS’ achievements during this trip.
- Premarital Counseling: Guide young people in cultivating healthy and successful relationships and marriages.
- Children’s Home: Visit the River of Life Children’s Home to spend a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon with the children.
Each mission aims to bring help and blessings to the local people, igniting a light of hope in their lives. We sincerely invite you to partner with us in prayer for the journey and activities of the mission team. Your prayers will be of the utmost importance, bringing heavenly peace and joy to each team member and enabling them to complete each task with God’s wisdom and strength, warming the hearts of the people of Togo with God’s love.
Prayer requests:
- Pray for the team’s safe transportation and all activities, whether by air or land, under God’s protection.
- Pray for the health and strength of each team member to serve effectively and for unity and support among the team members to carry out each activity.
- Pray for God’s guidance in each activity to ensure safety and provide sufficient local manpower to support the successful completion of all tasks, ultimately revealing God’s glory!
